About Us

Dave's Marine Transport was established in 2004 on the shores of Lake Erie in Marblehead Ohio between Toledo and Cleveland. We provide overland boat transporting services.

The company is owned and operated by Dave McAtee and wife Marnie McAtee. Their combined years of experience in the boating, service and transportation industries provide its customers with personalized professional service. Each boat haul is handled by Dave and Marnie personally. No transport is ever subcontracted or brokered.

Pulled by a Kenworth T300, the custom made Hostar Goldstar GS3600 hydraulic air ride boat trailer will carry various lengths and a variety of style boats. This versatile set up allows for loading and unloading without the use of a crane or hoists in most boat moving situations.

Recently added to our equipment is a 24' Wolverine Pontoon Trailer. This trailer allows us to wet load and launch in freshwater as well as lift to lift.

The truck is equipped with a gooseneck and ball hitch.
